Probably the number 1 K2 builder question. It is generally not a problem. All the components need to be at, or beyond, the centre of their tolerance to achieve this figure. Quite often the 8V regulator, is towards the low end of its tolerance. Measure, it. If it is low, but within tolerance, there is probably no point in doing anything. If it is low and out of tolerance, request a replacement.
