Assuming (??) that you refer to getting the KRX3 to turn your K3 to a 2 RX K3, there really is not that kind of interdependence. You don't have to have a "tested good" 1 RX K3 to support the KRX3. If some problem crops up, you work it out with Elecraft's excellent technical support.
