Alex, I had a K3 that displayed similar symptoms. It was 'cured' by re-doing the CONFIG: CAL REF. Check the manual Calibration procedures and find "Reference Oscillator" - Use Method 2. Even if you have the 1ppm TCXO, use that method - Method 3 is not yet implemented in firmware.
