Sounds great for heavier wires! "Weedeater" (string cutter) refills are available from almost any hardware store.
Simple fishing line "leader" will do quite well to hold up reasonably light weight wire antennas too. If 'stealthy' is needed, you'll be using a light weight wire anyway. "Magnet" wire will work although the stuff I've seen is soft copper and stretches easily. The last time I needed a stealth antenna, I used some white-covered "wirewrap" wire from Radio Shack. Stronger, not prone to stretching and virtually invisible from a few feet away.
