But I can tell you, that here in NNJ, when winter snow and ice rolls around, the "stealth" aspect is totally compromised...quite the opposite of stealth. But I have never had anything "snap" even when branches have fallen right onto the wire antenna...gotta love that nylon stretch. I guess sometimes they do rot out (maybe after 10 years)...easy and cheap to replace.
