Great news! I went ahead this afternoon and uploaded the new firmware, and it
went smooth-as-silk. Now running level 3.14 w/o any problems. Must just have
been an incompatibility between the new utility and the older firmware when
doing configuration saves. Thanks again to everyone for all the help. Look
for my up-to-date K3 on Field Day ;>)
