Hi, I'm setting up the rig to operate from a remote location over the Internet. On page 43, the manual has a very brief description of how to turn the radio on and off. If I activate a relay remotely to ground Pin 8 on the ACC socket, I can turn the radio on. Will it hurt anything if I use a relay that keeps this pin on ground the entire time the radio is ON? Or do I need a momentary contact relay to just give it the brief connection to ground? Then to turn it off, the manual states that a PS0 cat command should be sent. Then deactivate the POWER ON signal. Specifically, after sending a cat command PS0, will I simply have to remove the ground from Pin 8 on the ACC socket? Or how will this be accomplished? Thanks for the input. Art KZ5D
