Yes you're going to need the IF out and I highly doubt it'll be available by then. But I guess we'll see eh? I think anyone in a hurry would be well served with an LP-Pan (and you're going to need the XVRTR interface for that one too).
You may want to be careful. I bought my KXV3 interface early although I've been using it for the RX in port so its ok..
