Hi All,
Recently my K2, #5384, began to power OFF after a few minutes of CW
transmission and then resetting ON after a few seconds to minutes.
This has happened when running anywhere from 2 to 10 watts into a matched load.
(1 to 1:1)
Maximum current levels have not exceeded the 3.5 AMP transmit limit preset in
any monitored event. e.g. 1.6A at 2W and 2.18A at 5W.
It would appear that the RGE 300 self resetting fuse is at fault.
Is there any experience out there with faulty RGE 300's?
