Actually, I sometimes like to use the "day" settings at night when I don't necessarily need to be watching at the display-- the LED brightness is way too bright then. It would be nice to be able to turn them down also.
Funny thing... as much power is consumed when LCD Brt is set to "dAY" (backlight = off) as when it is set to max.
