I don't have my K3 right now [in the Elecraft shop], but there is a menu item [CONFIG:RS232?] where you can select DTR and RTS for PTT and CW keying. Pick your choice, write it down, then go to N1MM and in the Configure menu item, choose the top one [Ports]. Select the COM port you're using, check CW, and put the DTR/RTS settings in the appropriate fields.
