I have had issues with this also....on several levels. One, hen I have used the feature, it seems the sensitivity of the received signal is diminished. Second, I have found that the power output reduces by about 10 to 15 watts. Not much, but still, something isn't right there. I have had no trouble using my 500 Hz roofing filter and going down to 200 or 300 Hz and working RTTY. The PB setting, although a great feature, has not "flipped my skirt up." Something is not right. I have asked the questions about the power issue and they are looking into it. This has been several months.
