I have to agree with the idea it must stand alone and have a point and click functionality otherwise it's a toy too similar to ICOM.
I have had a few ICOMS with their version of a bandscope and they left me suitably unimpressed and therefore I would be leaving my money in the bank and looking for something else to buy.
