Okay, I'm doing something dumb once again. I downloaded the latest and greatest firmware and the newest K3 Utility. Uploading to the K3 was uneventful. The Utility shows all the latest versions installed. I'm excited about the 10 Hz passband shift, so that's what I tried to implement first.
I went to CONFIG:PB CTRL and attempted to change the shift to .01 using the VFO A knob. All I got was N/A. What highly obvious and intuitive step have I missed this time?
