Benny, If you are willing to use the K3 Utility Command Tester, then you can read or set the K3 power using the "PC" command - see the K3 Programmers reference for a full description. PC005; should set the power to 5 watts, and PC100; should set it to 100 watts. Set up 2 macros to make the switch easy. You could add commands to use the K2 extended mode for finer control at low power levels if you wanted.
