Well, this may not satisfy band-stacking register zealots, but the four per-band memories solve much of the problem for me. I set up M1-3 for CW, SSB and RTTY and use M4 as a temporary scratchpad. It doesn't work the same way some radios work that have a dedicated button for each band on their larger panels. But it works for many of us.
