That's what I've been lobbying for. The P3 with I/Q outputs, 400 KHz bandwidth, and computer control (via the K3 or direct) would have powerful SDR capabilities with all kinds of potential third party applications. Without the I/Q outputs, it's a very expensive dedicated display.
Possibly Elecraft yet has some version of that in mind, but with all the fuss I've raised on the topic I would have expected some indication if they did.
