As a "southpaw" myself, I also learned to send using a Bug right handed, but that was because I often operated at other installations on ships and military stations (and the occasional Field Day setup) that had a right-handed bug set up on the table.
Like you, the ability to make notes with my left hand while sending with my right hand is very nice. Besides, left-handed bugs, while available, were *expensive* back in the 1950's! Ron AC7AC -----Original Message----- I taught me to send right handed, so I could continue to log with my left. I have the paddle set with dah to the finger... dit to the thumb. And I find that sending while writing is very handy. --... ...-- Dale - WC7S in Wy ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
