One of the problems with having a radio that is way smarter than I am is that things take an inordinate amount of time to accomplish what should be a simple task. I've just spent three hours downloading the latest beta software. I freely admit that all of the mistakes were mine: from trying to use the wrong COM port to discovering that the unzipped files had not been saved into my "temporary" beta folder. *But* it seems that the whole thing could have been avoided if someone had a simple bulletproof checklist that includes things like "Turn on the K3...." Does anyone have such an animal?
