There is a heavy thunderstorm 30 NM from me between us. With the NR on my K3 set to F8-1 I am able to copy his USB signal without any trouble at all. Rig is K3 SN 1055 using the XV144 XVRTR with the preamp in a TE Systems 1452G amplifier running 350 watts. The antenna is an M2 18XXX 18 element Yagi. That's how it works... I am perfectly satisfied with the performance of the New NR additions. My hat is off to the great Elecraft Team.
