UPS delivered the K3 "parts" yesterday late afternoon and Ser# 3460 came to
life this morning. Generally a straight forward build. The front face plate had
a HARD interference issue with "speed" LED ... from the rear I slightly
elongated the front panel cutout a smidgen and then all went well.
A K3/10 destined for mostly 50Mhz-10Ghz operations with transverters except
for 6m.
SO many menus a the "depth" of controls ... This is going to take some
serious time to become familiar. I have operated Icoms and Flexs too long.
