I can confirm this behavior. In Data A mode split, no (or very, very little) rf out. Exit split mode and get ~5w during tune. Also, when the TUNE (not atu tune) button is pressed, the display which normally shows swr displays "--" and power reads "0.0". When you hit the tune button again to exit "ERR TXG" is displayed.
