Hi Nick, I still can't duplicate this. Please describe exactly how both the K3 and HRD are set up.
In particular: Do you have a sub receiver, or at least have the aux DSP module installed? K3 MCU rev 3.41 allows applications to query the revision number of the aux DSP even if the KRX3 itself is not installed. If it were doing this repeatedly, there could be serial port delays.
