I have been using the 2 receivers with the same antennas on all bands. In the last couple of days, I have used the 2 receivers extensively chasing the K4M gang.
I have noticed more than a little difference in signal strength when using dual receivers. In fact, today on 40m it appears that the signal was down 1 to 2 S units on the main receiver when sub was activated. When I listened and switched to "Split" there was no difference from listening on Main alone since in this setting only the transmit VFO was on the B setup. On 30 m with a weak signal from K4M, using both receivers simultaneously caused the signal to drop so low I couldn't copy. Turnd off the Sub, and could hear the signal on Main alone.
