I installed the latest 3.44 firmware and the associated DSP firmware yesterday. The install went without a problem although I am always a bit anxious at the completion bars slowly march across the screen!
I've noticed with the NR engaged and the BW control being adjusted that the audio blanks as each step occurs (a popping sound). I don't remember that being there with my previous version 3.3. The blanking does not occur with the NR off. It just smoothly changes the bandwidth. Does anyone else notice this condition? Is it a function of the changes made to eliminate the audio screech?
