Many of us use tuners at the antenna to provide best match and efficiency into the antenna without bothering with the feed line to the remote tuner characteristics. The insertion of the remote sensor is what is need when this setup is used. Otherwise, the remote isn't really needed (a bare K3/K2 etc with built in tuner manages the SWR and Tuning). The support for the amp keying into high SWR is a plus and is a huge benefit. I want one!!!

What (if any) software will be available for the W2? Will this product emulate the LP-100A for example? Is there a way to hook up to a P3 to display the readings of the W2? It would be nice to know what is coming down the pike with regards to the W2 and P3 73's Gary VK4WT/P In the Motorhome Sent via BlackBerryR from Telstra ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
