Julian and All, When operating in PSK mode and having the K3 in DATA A mode I had no RF output I noticed there was no ALC bars at all indicating no audio present from the computer. Turning up the K3 Mic gain (line in on data modes) there was no increased bar indication indicating no audio in from the computer. Returning the K3 mic gain (line input) to the correct value and switching the K3 mode to USB, then back to DATA A mode produced both the ALC bars and RF out. When I transmit it takes about 15 to 20 seconds for the K3 to adjust the RF out to the correct value.
When I operate using the USB mode with 3.44 installed (requireing selection of line input and eliminating any compression) the K3 responces very well and only takes between 1 to 3 seconds to adjust power out. During all of this no adjustments to the computer's audio out were made. Reinstalling 3.42 firmware eliminates any problems in DATA A mode.
