Man, I am a BELIEVER! I was calling ZB2FK, who was 539 when all of a sudden the QRN went to 60/S-9. I mean PEGGED. I looked out the window of the shack and saw that we were having a hail storm. We're up at 8400' in the Rockies...I punched the NB and held it, adjusted it a bit and BAM! THE QRN WAS ABSOLUTELY G-O-O-O-O-O-N-E ! I mean gone-gone!!!! Never in my 45+ years of hamming have I heard snow static be just ELIMINATED!!
