Assembling the W2 took less than an hour (coffee break included). Everything fits together nicely (as usual with Elecraft). And loading Rev 0.90 today went smoothly.
The accuracy is quite satisfactory as checked against my Bird 43 (which, admittedly, has not been calibrated for some time but I'm quite happy with +/-5% which nobody will notice on his S-meter anyway!). It appears that the PK HOLD function, though very convenient and reliable in manual mode, behaves erratically in AUTO mode, always going back to "1" or "2"... Further, the SWR meter will never show 1.0, the 1.1 LED stays on, whatever I do and even though the K3's meter shows 1:1.0 – even on a dummy load (no, I'm not an SWR addict! But I just wonder why…) I guess these minor issues will be dealt with in some future release... Thanks, Elecraft, for another very nice product!
