Just about time japaneese companies wake up and take the K3 architecture,its the only way to improve the receiver performance. Aparently Icom is coming also with something similar on his new IC-9100 with optional roofing filters of 6 and 3 Khz. Good,soon we'll have their competition,we'll see how good they are when they be tested by Sherwood/ARRL labs. AD4C
