Im not sure but If I understand the problem correctly when using MM to change to another band that would have a diff sideband the sequence being executed is:
Start on 20M Click on the 40M button in MM sets mode to LSB sets freq to 7.xxx I think this is setting the mode on 20M to LSB. So when you return to 20M it is not on USB. As Joe Subich pointed out, if the sequence were changed to: Click on 40M button in MM sets freq to 7.xxx set mode to LSB this would not effect the mode on the band you are leaving, only the band you are changing to. I have not evaluated this to see the results of the current setup, but there have been a couple reports so I suspect the problem is real and should be corrected. ------------------------- 73, Greg - AB7R Whidbey Island WA NA-065 On Tue Nov 24 9:58 , Lyle Johnson sent: >> -- how can we change from LSB to USB when it's wrong? > >Hold Alt under the MODE switch to toggle between: USB and LSB; CW and CW >REV; AM and Synchronous AM; etc. > >73, > >Lyle KK7P > >______________________________________________________________ >Elecraft mailing list >Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft >Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm >Post: [email protected]','','','')">[email protected] > >This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net >Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
