It works as advertised and has frequent updates generated in part by user generated comments from email reflectors (sound familiar?). I¹ll also note that when I just updated the K3 production firmware I ran into problems getting MacLoggerDX connected to the radio (had just updated it as well). In contacting Don Agro, VE3VRW (owner/operator), via email; he responded that I needed to record the log communication via Mac¹s Console utility and email it to him along with a screen capture of my preferences settings. Within a few minutes he suggested that I look at the baud rates selected at the radio and on the logging program. Sure enough, there was a conflict in the settings. Made the change and presto everything was working again. All that took just a few emails the same day I discovered the problem and contacted Don. The service was simply fantastic and the product just keeps getting better. Two great products, Elecraft K3 and MacLoggerDX, and two fantastic continuous improvement and customer service focused organizations.
