Hi Jay: First set CONFIG: AF GAIN to HI. But if that is not sufficient you can plug your headphones into the rear speaker jack. Be sure to set your CONFIG: SPKRS to 2.
Or there is a code you can send through the K3 Utility to increase headphone level. Use the Command Tester tab. This change is not remembered when you power down. The code is !66; Send it multiple times and the volume will continue to increase. I and others have written to Elecraft requesting this to be a config choice.
