Dick, I urge you to go back and read the posts by W4ZV about adjusting RF
Gain.  I strongly disagree with the assertion that one needs to constantly
adjust RF Gain to avoid missing stations when "running" - that is certainly
not my experience.  RF Gain needs to only be adjusted if background noise
level changes.
