I search in the last elamils in the reflector about pelican cases. Seems model 1510 is one with wheels to carry on in a plane. So this is for someone that have a Pelican 1510. >From www.aa.com How Much Can I Carry On? You can carry on one bag plus one personal item per passenger as long as: · They weigh no more than 40 lbs/18 kgs · The bag is no more than 45 inches and the personal item is no more than 36 inches when you add the length + width + height so that it fits in an overhead bin or under the seat So seems the 1510 with 22.00 x 13.81 x 9.00 is up in the limit. But the 1510 have interior dimensions 19.75 x 11.00 x 7.60. The K 3 have 10 x 10 x 4 right? So, is this 1 free (0.50 in each side) enough to protect the radio? I see a hang (I don´t exactly the word) in the side of the K3 to take it. Is this contemplate in the 10 dimension? Or this hand will cover the 11.00 of the 1510 pelican interior and I will not have foam in the sides? I don´t know if I am clear about my doubt about the 1510 case. Maybe another brand/model, carry one with wheels?
