Terry, the upgrade board did not come with any special instructions. I installed mine by following the guidelines in the K3 Kit Assembly Manual. It was a very easy mod. Of course, the same electrostatic discharge prevention cautions apply (I.e. you need an ESD mat and wrist strap.)
