I do know that it makes a big difference on the broadcast band. Tune in a station under 1000 kHz. It will be much louder on the antenna in jack on the KXV3 than on the main antenna jack. 7500kHz might not be far enuf away from the ham band to make much difference. I noted a big improvement on the BC band with the KBPF3 over that without it. Easy to check there with plenty of stations.
