My Yamaha CM500 came with a 3.5mm stereo plugs for microphone and headphone audio, which plug right into a computer sound card or the back panel connectors of my K3.
Yamaha also provided a 1/4 screw-on adapter that slips over the 3.5mm stereo plug. There was also a small bias battery case for a single AA cell that can be put in-line to provide bias if required. I didn't need to use it. I plug the microphone right into the back of my K3. If you prefer a front-panel Foster microphone connection, you'll want something like the Heil Sound AD-1K adapter. Do these come with a connector that will work with the K3, or do they have to be rewired, etc.?
