I had previously posted that I needed the correct cable for my amp and Bob at Array Solutions emailed me and fixed my problem faster than I could bat an eyelash. Got the right cable and set the amp for "Y" Yeasu and the amp now tracks the K3. It also has the ALC cable with it and that also does what I expect. Using the W2 wattmeter protects the amp if I have the wrong antenna from my remote. Now all that is left is to get the remote situation and the tuner to do that job. I am looking at both the HC 1.5Kfx auto tuner and the Palstar At-Auto to figure out what to order next. I am somewhat afraid of the MFJ-998 as I want a 1.1 to 1 or less and can already to 1.7 to 1 with the antennas I have. I will keep investigating. I am about ready to pounce unless Elecraft would have something on the horizon.
