I would imagine, judging from the ads, that a factory built K3 may have a slightly higher resale value but that doesn't matter to me since I doubt I'll ever sell mine!
Also, since I saved nearly $400 building it that's probably a wash anyway. I sure enjoyed assembling the radio and it definitely gives me a sense of pride and even attachment to my K3.
