I recently had a K2/100 with 'all' the options. I recently traded it for another full size HF rig. But I will still have occasional use of a barebones K2. By barebones, I mean a K2 with only the SSB module and perhaps the ATU. I won't ever be doing 160m or using a receiving antenna so I don't need that one. I won't have a computer with me, so the KIO2 is unnecessary also. I won't be carrying a 50 pound deep cycle battery so the PA is not needed. However, a BIG plus would be such a K2 that puts out ~20W on 40 - 20m. A well-traveled K2 would be great.
If anyone has such a rig they would like to part with, please let me know. I am not in a rush, but I would like to have one by summer and/or Field Day. Summary: K2 with only SSB module, possibly KAT2.
