I realize this topic is not new, but it is confusing to review the archives when searching this question. The KUSB is sold to support the K3. It is not advertised to support the K2. Can it be used out of the box to support the K2? Can I plug it into the serial port of the K2 (okay not a real serial port but looks like it) and then connect it to a USB port on my laptop without damaging the K2? I thought there might be a good reason why ELECRAFT does not list it for use with the K2 as well as the K3. I seem to recall a warning about damaging the K2 when using the wrong interface, but can't find it in the K2 manual or module building instructions. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks, and this reflector is addictive!
