I believe they are separate modifications with similar names. The LINE OUT mod kit contains two modifications. One is to reduce speaker amplifier distortion at high output levels and the other has a similar affect on the LINE OUT signal.
The AF Amplifier Output modification adds a couple of pull-down resistors to the speaker outputs to suppress potentially damaging voltage spikes that can occur if the outputs are connected to a short circuit or very low-impedance load.
