Good Evening,
   The weather has been quite mild this week. Not much rain, a little fog, and
even a few hours of sunshine. It felt good to get out and walk even though the
ground is soggy. A few deer have been spending time outside my window. It is
fun to be working contacts and watch them at the same time. They can be within
only a few feet of me but be totally unaware I am chatting about them to
someone on the other side of the country.
   Propagation was pleasantly good this week. Mild QSB but the noise levels
were low so even the weaker signals were easy to copy. 80, 40, and 20 meters
were all kind to me. I also read a few notes about 15 meter contacts. Soon
the bands will open up to a much broader swath of the world.  That will be fun;
it has been far too long since I could easily work DX stations. I would like
to work more of Africa and South America.

Please join us tomorrow evening.
