I could not agree more. Rene did the work on my K3 as well.. I purchased mine used and thought it had a few issues. Instead of trying to resolve them myself, I sent it to Elecraft for a "check up" and installation of an option I wanted but was not included on my k3 (sn 2090). Rene called me at least three times during the process to ask questions and keep me informed about it's progress. Never had I experienced this kind of service before from a radio manufacture.
