Thanks, Paul Barratt zl1ajy Auckland NZ Hi folks just a follow up note from downunder... June last year I ordered a K1 kit. It was mis-sent to Holland. Another K1 kit was dispatched and sent to the correct address. ( Auckland New Zealand ) A few days later the original K1 kit arrived, this was re-directed from Holland. At some cost I imported and re-exported back to Elecraft. This was approx NZD 300.00 I sent details and paper work to Elecraft at the same time. There was some hope of recovering the costs from US Post ?? I heard nothing so last December sent a note to Elecraft checking if any costs had been recovered. My suggestion was to simply donate to a local childrens xmas charity in your locale. Nothing was heard, it has been quite a while; I am just curious if if any progress was made for some sort of compensation ?
