Let me describe better what I'm trying to do. When correctly commanded, the
KDSP2 will first display version info

  DSP 3.16

and then 2 seconds later will display

  CTL 3.10

(The version numbers are made up - I'm at work now.) What I had hoped to do was
send a DS to retrieve the display state and get the 'DSP ...' string. Then 2000
ms later, send a second DS to get the display at that point.

What happens, though, is that no matter how I adjust the timing, I can only get
the final 'CTL 3.10' display but nothing when I had hoped to retrieve the 'DSP
3.16'. Or, I can get only the 'DSP 3.16' and not the CTL display.

Is it possible to do what I'm trying to do? Or is the 2 s delay still part of a
single K2 display that can't be retrieved via two DS commands?

Thanks,
