After hearing the three MP3 samples of noise reduction in that web page I can tell I was not impressed,actually my K3 can wipe out those noises better than that "LINGUA" product,I was expecting a better performance but I don't think I would spend over $200 US in that small box when I can do the same or even better with my K3 NR,there are sometimes that the same kind of noise I heard there,disapear completely after playing with the different NR setings,I am very pleased with the performance of my K3 NR,it really works !! I don't know if the algorithm has been improved in the meantime, but my box works really good. The depth of noise reduction is adjustable with a pot and it does not reduce the loudness of the signal but only the noise. At the highest NR setting voices start to sound "spacey". I normally use a medium setting for best S/N effect. The noise reduction is only noticeable wih weak noisy signals. There is nearly no effect on S9+20 signals without noise. My box has one disadvantage, I don't know if this has been changed with the new product, there is only one channel, so the sub receiver has no NR. You might need two of them.
