Many applications on Mac OS X keep support files in [/Library/Application Support] and [~/Library/Application Support].
Check [~/Library/Applications Support/Elecraft/] for the Elecraft K3 Utility support files. Static resources (GUI, Icons, AppleScript definitions, etc) are stored in the Resources folder of the Application Bundle. Dynamic resources (the ones that the users can change over time), such as K3 hex files are often stored in [Application Support]. There are other standard folders that installers can store bundles in (e.g., Core Audio and Internet plug-ins). You can read Apple's guidelines for developers here: http://developer.apple.com/tools/installerpolicy.html 73 Chen, W7AY ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
