Hello everybody from Canberra. This may have been covered before, and perhaps you can direct me to the archive.... BUT ... Has anyone complained about the fragility of the power plug/socket arrangement on the K2?? I *have* to sweep off my bench before starting up the rig. Else it turns itself off and maybe flickers on/OFF until I rest the plug on my bench. Just brushing against mic cords, pens whatever ... is enough to set it off.
Have other people found a better mechanical connection for a plug & socket which has to remain connected and carry 2A on transmit. At present, I could not take my setup portable in the passenger seat of my car or in my lap!! Ideas would be welcome...
